STORY
Sydney is an anxious ex-graduate student, and at the age of twenty-six, she's well-versed in being alone. With her education behind her, along with a painful past she'd rather forget, Sydney is desperate to find someone to fill the hole in her heart.
And so, romance and secrecy intertwine for Sydney when she finally meets Lara, a laid-back girl at her favorite local diner one night. After all this time, could Lara be the one she's been seeking? Their feelings grow stronger, but as hearts intertwine, there's something amiss...
Is this meeting merely coincidence, or something deeper?
What dark past is still out of Sydney's reach?
And who is Lara, really...?
As their romance develops, new secrets are revealed, and Sydney must decide how she will move forward...

This was really well made! I love all the visual touches and polish and in particular the very consistent narrative theming and logic that goes through everything. It makes complete sense why Sydney finds herself compelled to solve this mystery and its driving force for the drama between the two characters. I'm looking forward to playing the full game!

i was hooked from almost. the very beginning of the game on sydneys story and was hooked again when it got to laras the characters feel very real and i could not put the game down very excited for the full release (especially given where you ended the demo)

I can't wait to read the rest of the story! The first and second chapters hooked me very strongly; the concept of two people who knew each other while young meeting again as trans girls is one that hasn't been explored enough and it's one of my faves. The angst here was deliciously written, and the expressions and poses on the sprites were super inventive and dynamic, I'm a huge fan.
Also the music is so atmospheric! Super big fan.
